We can get stuck in that physiology, a feeling flat, a feeling nothing’s happening, of breathlessness, of feeling in limbo land and instead choose differently this time.
Choose to move, to get out in nature, to do something differently, to dance widely around the kitchen, anything that changes that physiology. After you’ve acknowledged what’s going on, you’ve acknowledged that you’re in that stress loop, that stress cycle.
It is low level stress, chronic stress which we can create for ourselves by thinking that way and instead, honour ourselves enough to take ourselves by the hand, take ourselves out of that state we’re in and choose differently, choose better for ourselves.
And in that process we break the cycle, we break those old patterns of relating to ourselves, of abandoning ourselves in fact and instead we can relate better to ourselves, we can rescue ourselves.
