Life is so distracting these days, we’re so busy, caught up in our worlds, caught up in stress and living on the outside of ourselves, showing up in life, going to work, tending to our families, looking after ourselves as best as we can, having a social life, paying bills, organising, cooking, cleaning, washing etc.
And so it’s a big ask in a way to imagine dropping into our bodies, having time to be with ourselves, taking time out - precious time of which many of us don’t have much; to be with ourselves, to come home to ourselves and drop into the body through whatever practise that might be, it could be mindfulness, journaling, going for a walk in nature, yoga - any of these practices that afford us that blessed opportunity to come home to ourselves, to check in with ourselves, to check out our inner worlds, our realities.
