Dont let self development become another hard task master - embodied therapies

One of the key benefits to being embodied is to feel on purpose, to live on purpose.

With the somatic massage and the somatic coaching sessions that I offer, I support clients with exercises, practices, rituals, psychoeducation and embodiment work to come back home to themselves, to get grounded, learn how to be grounded, learn how to get centred in the body.

This affords a client the opportunity to then really start to live their lives on purpose.

We can be so distracted with everything that’s going on out there in the world at the moment; social media draws us in, the news, tv etc;  people stories, people’s dramas playing out all day every day, not to mention all our responsibilities and roles that we have to perform on a daily basis.

This can create a lot of discombobulation in the brain and ultimately disconnects us from our bodies, from our true innate natures and our sense of self, and so take as far away from our purpose, our sense of meaning in the world.

So I invite clients when they come to me to bring themselves back into their bodies and that’s one of the major advantages of this work, of embodiment work, in a world of chaos  - to come back to oneself, to one’s true nature and to feel that embodiment, and from that, to go into the world and have a sense of living consciously, living on purpose.
